Roufaida Al-Misky, MD, FAAFP
Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Al-Misky excelled in high school and went on to study at Allegheny College graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She then attended the Temple University School of Medicine to obtain her MD.
Following in her father’s footsteps, Dr. Al-Misky became a family medicine physician after completing a family medicine residency at the North Mississippi Medical Center.After working in Mississippi at a large rural hospital for 10 years, she relocated to Southeast Michigan in 2010. At that time, she practiced in an emergency medicine room. She was inspired by her patients to finally open her own family medicine practice. Dr. Al-Misky believes family medicine physicians focus on preventative medicine is important to keep patients healthy.
Additionally, family medicine physicians are specialized to treat not only common medical problems but can manage the chronic disease as well. She most recently was awarded the Fellow of the American Academy Family Practice for devotion and service to the community and the field of medicine.
Dr. Al-Misky has been happily married for over 25 years and has raised three children, two of whom are adults and one in high school. She is now accepting patients at her new practice in Troy, Michigan. She looks forward to meeting new patients and developing long-lasting relationships with her patients.

She is a graduate of Michigan State University where she excelled and received a BS in Human Biology.
Vickie strives to provide optimal patient care. She has an amazing personality and is thriving at Family Medicine and Wellness, PLLC. Previously, Vickie worked with pediatric and hemodialysis patients. She is dedicated to serving the community and has volunteered at local hospitals.
Vickie is enthusiastic to further her education in health care. Eventually she would like to attend a Physician Assistant Program.
